about me

I was born in Sydney, Australia. After witnessing my sisters talents as a landscape and nature photographer, I decided to pick up a camera and discover the art of taking pictures for myself.
I studied photography at Cranbrook high School in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and went on to win photography awards with the local newspaper Wentworth Courier where my work was also published. I also won a showing in the prestigious exhibition "Art Express" at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, which showcases the States best artworks from the HSC (Australia’s high school final exams).

After High School, I went on to Study both first and second year photography within the same year at KVB College for fine arts in Sydney's North.

It was there that I found my passion for Fashion Photography and I could be found skipping most of the main classes to spend time in the college studio to develop my skills and further my folio. Whilst studying, I also started assisting a local French Fasion Photographer, who introduced me into the crazy world of Fashion. From there it was a thirteen year love hate relationship with shooting fashion.

Currently still based in Sydney, Australia, I made the switch to film and t.v, starting up a film services company called Ground Control Pictures, as well as being a Director of Photography on various commercials, tv shows and short films. I still shoot stills when I can, and one can often find me on set with my favourite camera, the Leica M type 240.
